     CREATIVE SEWING WEEKENDS 2025

We have had some great weekends this year and there is one more - 7th - 9th November. It takes place at the New Place Hotel, Shirrel Heath, Near Wickham, Hampshire.  There is also the option of extending the weekend by coming for additional tuition on the Friday 10am – 3.30pm (those opting for the Traditional weekend join the class at 3.30 – 5.30pm).

Dates for next year are 

27th - 29th March, 12th - 14th June, 25th - 27th September and 6th - 8th November 2026

Textured Twiddles

Play with different  6” manipulated textural blocks. Easy to cut, fun to fiddle, no awkward templates, just squares and rectangles for the most part. Embellish and decorate the designs however you fancy. Use the blocks for quilts, wall-hangings, bags, cushions and even clothes. Play, expand and explore the many options presented. Or just come and do your own thing! 

Super Natty Notions and Easy Gifts for Festive Fun - Wendy Gardiner:

 Wendy will take you through a wide range of easy makes for those festive times. From stockings, bags, gifts to many other delightful niceties - come and have some fun with fabric. Or why not come and do any dressmaking – take advantage of Wendy’s 40+ years experience of patterns.

 

The Venue

The weekends are held at the New Place Hotel, Shirrel Heath (near Wickham, Hampshire).  This splendid listed hotel has a purpose built conference centre, excellent leisure suite and well equipped bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The hotel is fabulously decorated and is the location of breakfast and dinner. Our workshops are held in the well equipped, light and roomy conference rooms. And to relax, there is a large leisure suite with pool, Jacuzzi, gym etc etc – oh and there’s a nice bar!

The price for the weekend is just £425 per person. We also offer day rates for those not wishing to stay, and partner rates for those who wish to bring a partner.  Great news is that the weekend starts at 2pm Friday – with arrival and settle in, then a 2 hour class from 3.30-5.30. We finish at 4pm Sunday.
